Objective
The class was given a list of small but reputable soda companies. I chose Ramblin Root Beer to re-design due to the fun nature of the brand and my love of root beer.
Software used: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
Ramblin the Original
The original logo was fun and whimsical. I felt it was a little too retro and decided to give it a more modern makeover.
Sketches
Rough sketches were created to be able to quickly decide what elements would be used when recreating the logo.
Color Scheme and Typography
Due to the different flavors different color schemes were needed with enough similarity to create a natural connection between them all. The typeface was chosen due to its striking appearance. The R’s in the logo are the same typeface edited to flow with the circular nature of the design.
Final Logo on product
The final logo visualized with full soda can design elements really puts the whole logo re-brand into perspective to get the full idea of how the re-brand would look on the product.

The final logo design is meant to resemble a bottle cap which was meant to give it a modern yet retro-esque appearance.
Conclusion
This was one of my more favorite logo designs. I really enjoyed how, throughout the design process, every element just flowed into the next. It was almost a natural development that resulted in a phenomenal end result.
